1. Bu Bash Halloween Carnival at Malibu Bluffs Park
Age: 2-10
Location: Malibu Bluffs Park – 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265
Admission: $10 per child; registration is not required for accompanying adults. Pre-registration recommended.
When: Friday, October 24, 2025 from 3-6pm
Malibu’s annual Bu Bash Halloween Carnival is just around the corner, bringing the community together for an afternoon of festive fun. This family-friendly tradition transforms Malibu Bluffs Park into a lively celebration filled with costumes, laughter, and seasonal spirit. Kids can enjoy games with prizes, a costume catwalk, bounce houses, delicious bites from Ardi’s Eats & Sweets food truck, and spooky stories with the Malibu Library.

2. Trick-or-Treat Event at Malibu Farmers Market
Age: 5-16
Location: Malibu Farmers Market – 23555 Civic Center Way, Malibu, CA 90265
Admission: Free
When: Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 9am-2pm
The Malibu Farmers Market is adding a festive twist this season with a special Trick-or-Treat event for kids. Families can purchase fresh produce, baked goods, and artisan products from local vendors, while kids will have a chance to receive either candy or a pack of Pokemon cards while supplies last.

3. Nights of the Jack at King Gillette Ranch
Age: All
Duration: 1 mile long self-guided tour
Location: King Gillette Ranch – 26800 West Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas, CA 91302
Admission: $15.98+
When: September 26, 2025 – November 1, 2025 from 5:30-10pm
A family-friendly event at King Gillette Ranch with interactive experiences such as a live pumpkin carver, gift shop, food trucks, and “The Spookeasy Bar” which serves specialty spooky cocktails for those 21+. There is a 1 mile long self-guided tour which has tons of intricately carved and illuminated jack-o-lanterns to see.

4. Malibu’s #1 Halloween Costume Party at Cielo Farms
Age: 21+

Celebrate Halloween in style at Cielo Farms during Malibu’s premier masquerade costume party. Set amidst the vineyard’s stunning scenery, this enchanting evening features a lively costume contest, great music, spooky-themed cocktails, fine wine, and dancing beneath the stars.

5. Rosenthal Haunted Wine Run 5K

When: Sunday, October 19, 2025, with 3 groups starting at 8, 9:30, & 11am. Select a time when signing up.
The Rosenthal Wine Run 5K brings a Halloween twist to Malibu this October, combining a scenic coastal run with an elevated wine tasting experience at The Malibu Estate. Blending community, fitness, and seasonal celebration, it’s one of the area’s most unique fall events and a highlight on the local calendar.

6. Haunted Disco Dance Party at Ollo
