Yesterday, June 12th, was the grand opening of the new Whole Foods in Malibu.
Samples were given out by local vendors along with music and giveaways starting at 8am. The first 300 shoppers were given a reusable gift bag with snacks and a gift card for the store ranging from $5-$100.
The 25,000 square foot building offers a wide variety of natural and organic food including a fresh produce department, bakery, butcher department, seafood department, cheese department, hot bar, and an in-store Nekter Juice Bar.
Surrounded by succulent walls and open seating areas, the Whole Foods Market is located in a new complex called The Park. Known as The Whole Foods Market and the Park Shopping Center, this has been a 16 year project in the works.
Also surrounding the complex will be two parks including an amphitheater and playground and other retailers, such as Blue Bottle Coffee. There is plentiful parking throughout the shopping center.
Visit the store in The Park at Cross Creek located at: 23401 Civic Center Way Malibu, CA 90265 or check out The Park website here.
