We are heartbroken by the devastating impact of the recent wildfires in Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, and across Los Angeles. As a team deeply rooted in Malibu, we understand the profound challenges that wildfires bring to our community—challenges that we’ve faced together many times before, but rarely on this scale. Our thoughts are with all those who suffered unspeakable loss during the last week.
In these challenging times, we’ve seen the profound resilience of our community. Together, we will rebuild, recover, and emerge even stronger. Below is a list of wildfire resources for those affected, including an up-to-date list of our available leases in Malibu.
Housing: Short and Long Term
According to CNN, over 10,000 properties have been destroyed in the wake of the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire. Entire communities have ceased to exist overnight, and the need for replacement housing is extreme. Made worse by L.A.’s housing crisis, fire victims have been forced to scramble and compete with one another to secure long and short-term housing.
Having experienced this before in the wake of the Woolsey Fire, we understand it is extremely stressful and can be overwhelming. Here are resources to aid with long and short-term housing:
- Compass Wildlife Resource Site. Scroll down to view collections of leases by area.
- Airbnb Housing Support.
- Furnishing Services for Unfurnished Rentals.
- View our Malibu lease inventory.
