Her passion for real estate, dedication to client service, and love for Malibu make her a perfect fit for our team. To introduce Patti to our clients and friends, we sat down and asked her about her life and work here in Malibu.
Q: Where are you from, and what led you to Malibu?
A: “I was born in Mexico City, raised in Guadalajara. At 18, I moved to London to study International Business & Management. I moved to Malibu 13 years ago to create and manage real estate portfolios locally and internationally.”
Q: You were voted Best Real Estate Agent by the Malibu Choice Awards in 2019. How do you set yourself apart from other agents?
A: “I am very personal. I don’t believe the same methods and techniques work the same for every client. So I take the time to understand their needs, wants, and desires, and tailor my service to help them achieve the results they want.”
Q: What advice would you give to people looking to buy or sell in the Malibu area?
A: “Work with a doer, not a talker; find someone willing to give you A-plus service no matter how big or small the deal is.”
Q: How do you stay involved in your community?
A: “I believe the community makes Malibu our home. I am warm by nature so I like to say hello, goodbye, and shout thank you every time I walk in and out of places. I do different sponsorships to support business, activities, and sports. I am a huge believer in giving back and I have been part of many different charity foundations. I just founded ‘Be you,’ a foundation that encourages and promotes inclusion, acceptance, and self-love.”
Q: In 2019 you decided to join the Mark & Grether Group – walk us through the decision and what it means for your business
A: “Joining the team happened very organically; I saw their work ethic, marketing ideas, knowledge, experience, and success. So, when the opportunity to join the team was presented, I jumped to it. I believe everything is energy; we attract what we want and need. we all need expanders to continue to reach success, people that we admire that complement us and challenge us to be better every day.”
