Surfing Cowboys – The owners Wayne and Donna Gunther coined the term “Surfing Cowboys” over 25 years ago to capture a California lifestyle that describes their store perfectly. Room at the Beach – Decorate your home to match the Malibu lifestyle with a selection of decor by owner and interior designer Elizabeth Lamont. They are collaborating with local chef Jennifer Taylor in a “Home for the Holidays” special by offering plates of brownies, cookies, or blondies for purchase. Strange Wines – A family vineyard and tasting room, Strange Wines is celebrating “25 days of holiday cheer” by offering deals and discounts every day leading up to Christmas. They have an assortment of wine and wine-related gifts such as charcuterie boards, decanters, wine glasses, and more. Sweet Bu Candy Co. – Locally and family-run, Sweet Bu has been voted best candy store in Malibu for the past two years. Shop for sweet treats or customized holiday gift baskets with all proceeds going to Malibu and Webster Elementary schools. Kids can also write a letter to Santa at the shop. Sea Lily – Who doesn’t love receiving flowers? This Malibu-based eco-friendly design boutique gets its flowers from local farmers and offers in-store pickup and local delivery throughout Malibu. Vitamin Barn – This beloved health food joint serves smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, and has every vitamin you can imagine. They almost permanently shut down due to COVID, but thanks to the support of the community, they remain open!
