Fires are part of life in Malibu, and California as a whole.
But that doesn't mean we don't play a role; in fact, it means the opposite.
The goals of our fire recovery page are simple:
1. Offer resources, data, and help to those affected by wildfires (in particular, the 2018 Woolsey Fire).
2. Educate on the subject and how Malibu (and SoCal residents) can best prepare for wildfire events.
3. Stay up to date on fire risks/weather, including fuel moisture levels, wind events, and more.
